    Ive heard that it is possible to embed a game onto your hard drive thus eliminating damage to associated disc's ,hope ive used the rite terminology here what i mean is that with some games you have to input a disc to play and this eliminates that.Are their any other advantages to this or is it parley convenience?

    Typically, on old games, the software developer will eventually develop a no_cd patch. But other than that, nope.
