It seems you can only play You Don't Know Jack online via Steam.
You can also play it for free on mobile devices.

I don't see any way of getting it without a purchase or a crack and I know you don't want either of those. Maybe a cd/dvd floating around some trader shops or open markets. There is a place here that deals and trades in games.
