Gaming Pc Build & Spec

Hi guys

I'm thinking of building a gaming PC from scratch, it will be on a budget
Probably around £500 excluding monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers etc.

Can anyone advise me on what spec I should be looking at getting for this type of price? And any recommendations for suppliers to purchase from. (UK based)

Also how hard is it to do? The last PC I anything to do with building was probably 15 years ago

(£437.68 GBP, just for the base parts.)

 

What hardware is covered by "etc."? What games are you considering? Do you have an OS and license?
