Gaming PC - Conroe & 8800 GTX - which ram?

Hi All, New build with Conroe 6600 and 8800 GTX and MSI p965 mobo... but I have no idea which RAM to add to it. I do not understand the CL thing! I think it has to do with RAM timings, but to be honest I don't know what that means. Looking at OCZ 2GB sets for example I can get CL5-5-5-12 (OCZ2G8002GK) or CL4-5-4-15 (OCZ2P8002GK) for about the same price... but I don't know what it all means or even if it is the right RAM.

 

You'll need DDR2 memory for that mobo. Generally the lower the timings on the ram the better the performance, so lower timing numbers should be better.

Since your system seems to be built for gaming, I would buy the most/best/fastest ram you can afford.
