A baldness cure would pay off lots more to the company involved than a cure for Malaria unfortunately.

Gates talked about his philanthropic foundation's fight against malaria, a preventable and treatable disease that kills more than 1 million people a year, mostly in Africa.

Gates said fighting the disease must be a higher priority.

"There is more money put into baldness drugs than into malaria," Gates said.

I've had Malaria more than once, when working in Africa, so I can appreciate what a cure for Malaria would mean to Africa and other tropical nations /areas. Go Bill, and your Foundation.

He must have had each individual mosquito screened for Malaria and other deseases :-D That's the kind of thing you can make happen with a snap of your fingers when you earn a billion bucks per second:-D

I think he's doing a great job for the Africans. Good for him. Unfortunately, even a person of Bill Gates stature must resort to grandstanding and P.T. Barnum tactics to get noticed in a world filled with bass ackward priorities.
