I didn't want to take over BJIO008's thread so I'm going to ask for help here. I'm having the same issue as

but I've done some more trouble shooting. I removed the CPU and tested it in a working system. The BIOS recognizes it as a 2.8GHz CPU but is running it at 1.4GHz with no way to change it. I attempted to update the BIOS(it's in Profile 4 now) but had no luck. I also tried the CPU from the Profile 4 in the Profile 5 with no luck. Odd thing is the light on the Motherboard indicating power does not seem to stay on. It flickers after you press the power button then turns off again even though the other components appear to be getting power. I'm wondering even though the video in works weather the power section of the I/O board is bad. If I can find a spare I'll test it. Any other thoughts on what could be wrong?:banghead

I feel like I'm talking to myself but maybe it helps. I found another Profile 5 where I work that was working and tested the I/O board from my bad ones in it. They worked perfectly, and sense I can use the LCD with the video in, and the processor and ram in another unit as well I'm starting to conclude that it must be the mother board, or at least some part of it considering the video has to go though the I/O board and the motherboard to the LCD. But at this point I've tested everything else. I'm just about to give up and use the Profile 4 I have as a tower and one of the two Profile 5's (that are both not booting) as a monitor. The profile 4 has a bad LCD and a bad inverter(I should know I stole the inverter for another 4 that had a good LCD still). It seems like replacing the motherboard would be too much trouble. I'm having thoughts of using the LCD from a 5 in the 4 and repairing or replacing the inverter but again I'm not sure if it's worth the effort since I can just hook them together with a video cable for the same effect, though taking up more room.

Well if anyone has any thoughts or opinions on this I welcome them. Let me know if you think I should just use them as is or try to "combine" them.:major
