Gbs Missing.

    Hey, I am not sure where to put this problem.

    Anyway, my C:/ is just over 50gb, it states there is only 7gb left.
    So i went on a search to find out where all this space has gone.
    So, I came across a folder in docs & settings, it claimed it was
    just over 17gbs: All users folder, 369mb.
    My folder just under 17gbs, so aha this is my problem....

    when i go inside this folder, i have:

    My Docs - 8gb
    start menu - 19.7kb
    favourites - 1.02kb
    desktop - 1.05kb
    contacts - 13kb
    downloads - Empty

    So, even I can work out that this does not tally to just under 17gb.

    can anyone help me locate my missing 9gbs please.

    Make sure in Windows Explorer, you have show system files and show hidden files checked.
    Download and install WinDirStat
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/windirstat/
    it will show you both graphically and by a tree view disk, file and directory sizes.
