gcasServ.exe not responding

    when I shut down my PC this message appears;
    "gcasServ.exe not responding" It seems to be something to do with windows firewall. Can anyone help me resolve?

    Sorry I mis-typed, it should read "gcasDtServ.exe not responding"

    This file is part of widows Defender, if legit. Do you have defender?

    There is also a trojan with the same name, started automatically from a Run, RunOnce, RunServices, or RunServicesOnce entry in the registry.

    The Defender version should not appear in the start tab of msconfig.

    You really should continue this in the malware thread.
