    IHe is, we are both in New York. I must admit, after reading that and others, I came to two conclusions.

    He is a much better fit then me. (My wife says I am half geek)
    He is much cooler and geekier then anything I can find there. Should be geek of the month or year. Everyone answers questions the same "wy wife says", "i have too many computers", "stupid star trek crap" (thats a NERD) and choosing games that were released in the past year or two as their favorite game when any real geeks favorite game was something that was cutting edge for its time (Wolfenstein, Leisure Suit Larry, not Unreal Tournament 2004).

    I read Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. Loved it. Need to read more, if there is more, and re-read the Hitchhiker's Guide series......I need to laugh! :)

    It was. Basically there are some pretty freaky people there. Geeks are computer guys, programmers, etc., who's lives evolve around computers. Your that guy. I find nerds more the type who play Dungeons and Dragons and go to Star Trek conventions. Thats just my distinction.

    I would wear a geek badge with honour. (to cover up my idiot badge) (there's a new idea, geek badges to go with the MajorGeeks T-Shirts)

    To me, a geek is intelligent, well versed and a problem solver.

    Being called a nerd however, would be an insult.

    I find nerds annoying and boring, and sometimes I feel like breaking their bullet-proof glasses. :)
