Geekolicious

How can we know which software is still geekolicious vs. software that once was amazing but now is old and we shouldn't use? Will the old ratings still make an older software download rated higher than current software download or does majorgeeks give higher weight to current ratings some how?

Those posts are from 2015, are they constantly updated ? Thanks again. I just had a laptop replaced and need to clean up the old one before I send it back.... This is the basic links that I'm asking if I just search geekolicious will it weight the current stuff higher.. example if a software from 2015 used to be amazing but, now is outdated, would the weighting move it down?

I'm trying to figure what is best of the best to download on a brand new laptop.... trying to get cortana to stop using bing especially. Thank.

 

I use windows 7 and it cuts out all the spy ware that windows 10 gives yeah.

I had to work this one out, as there is conflicting advice around- so, from my computer- I changed to Google, just to test (I do use edge myself)
You will get a windows popup saying are you sure etc:
If you want to change back, simply click the reset button

 

I checked it this way, as apparently Bing still comes back if you just tick your preferred browser to default.
