geforce card trouble

I need heelp.

a few months ago i updated the drivers to my geforce2 mx/mx400 video card.

well the update did not work well. When i loaded games It failed to lead the textures. When i do 3d modelif it fails to clear the memory. i thought no problem i will just use the xp roll back function. WEll i did that and got a message that it was unsucessfull. So i jsut tried to uninstall the drivers when a new update came up. Well i go to start->settings->control panel->add remove programs.

i scroll down the list for the display drivers Click un install. it asks me if i am sure. i click yes. the dialog closes. i wait and then nothing. it does nothin. so then i go to the folder withthe drivers and try touse the uninstall there. it does the same thing. No i am stuck with bad drivers and i need a way to remove them. Formatting is not an option. I have tried the Nvidia website with nosucess. i tried for 2 hours to ast a question just to never find the question asking dialog.


i have direct x 9.0 c
Win xp pro sp2
geforce2 mx/mx400

6.14.0010.6693

u are in luck because there is this neat little program called Driver Cleaner. It will completely remove all that u want to get rid of. Read the instructions before u use it tho
i dont have a link but u can get it by searching for it in google

 

tahnks for the info. but there is still one small problem. i need to be able to remove the drivewr before i can use the driver cleaner.

It is to old model VGA card so I think you should try V 44.xx
