I have an older computer (pentium 4, 1.8 Soyo Ultra Dragon Mother Board, 1 gig RAM, Windoes XP Pro) That I had installed a GeForce2 MX200 PCI video capture card in a few years ago so that I could put my older 8mm videos on. I never did get the chance to do this before I lost my Wintv and Windvd programs.

My questions are; Is this card out of date for what I want to accomplish? and if not, what other programs can I use to capture the videos (and use it for a tv ) since I lost my copies in my move.

    Thank You
    Chris

Are you sure this is a video capture device? From a fast browse, the mx200 series either had TVout or it didn't. So, from this info, you may have to purchase an actual tv-in card or video capture card.

Yes, it came with a AV tuner box (COMP in Line in SVID).

At one time I had it working but lost the WinTV and WinDVD discs.

Can XP Do video recording in some way.
