GeForce4 MX 4000 128MB

This card is giving me problems. I thought I could get better performance from games like Vice City or Unreal Tournament 2004.. but it stays the same. My old card was a Geforce2 MX 400 64megs and well for vice city it kept getting all the textures blurry... so for my new card as i stated as the title it did a better performance for Vice City but thats it. I have this game called R.O.S.E Online. Well I surpassed the maximum requirments not by far but much and wadya know... I only get 15FPS MAX!!! WTF IS THIS?!? When im in areas populated by people.. i only get 3-4FPs.. thats gay. So IDK what to do... give me answers.. i updated drivers , windows updates, everything... im about to give up... and i also heard that MX cards aren't good...

 

MX cards are intentionally slower than their bigger brothers, it's done for market share reasons.
In order to help you we need to know your full system specs.
The video card is but one component in the system, if you're stuffing that into a pentium 2 400 then it's not going to do you any good. post your specs and I'll see what we can do.

I have a Pentium 4 2.20 GHz FSB 266 i think.. i dont remember but on my bios it says 100 x 22.0

512MB of DDR RAM
