Gen:Variant.Inject.13

    Hi,
    My antivirus finds an infected file with Gen:Variant.Inject.13 , however it is unable to get rid of it.
    Any idea how can I remove it from my pc?

    Attach a log that shows exactly what and exactly where. If the infection is valid, you will need to run the below and attach the logs:

    Looks like a false detection to me. That is a valid Microsoft file. I tend to doubt it is infected but it is not impossible. You can try uploading and scanning that msdasql.dll file at the below link to see what the many scanners there think:

    When I scan the same file on my PC, all 43 of the scanners at VirusTotal show no problem.

    You were right, it seems to be a false detection. As you suggested I scanned again with VirusTotal. The result was negative, ‘found nothing’.
