How much will fps and general performance increase if resolution is decreased from 1920x1280 to 1366x768 or something similar? Pls illustrate with new games and provide numerical data if possible.

    Specs-
    i5 3330
    8gb ram
    Hd 7750 1gb gddr5

1920x1280 = 2,457,600px, 1368x768 = 1,050,624px, so on purely mathematical terms based on screen resolution alone, the lower resolution has fewer than half the amount of pixels to fill so the improvement ought to be greater than 2x. Gaming is more complex than that however, the actual performance is likely to be closer to a 30% improvement.

I just ran the built-in benchmark for Tomb Raider 2013 on my system as an example of the FPS difference:
    DisplaySize Min Max Average
    1920x1200 35.8 52 43.3
    1368x768 56.3 60.3 59.9

Obviously, your hardware is different but the scaling should be similar providing you don't have a big bottleneck. (My game settings were close to Max. but without TressFX, you would probably need to drop to Medium settings for similar FPS.)
