Not sure right place to post this. Have tried other less specific forums but no luck

1) After coming out of standby, my computer doesn't make a connection to the internet (even though it appears to be connected), and the only way to fix it is to restart the computer and it runs fine again. Any idea why this might be? Use a wireless network thing.

2) just side question if anyone happens to know. on msn messenger, the sound just doesn't work, even though the sound on the rest of the computer is fine, and reinstalling it doesn't work, and have checked all the sound settings, but it doesn't seem to have any sound files on it. any idea why this is?

If you mean the volume control, all the various volume things are turned up, so don't think it's to do with that. Can't see a specific msn sound thing though there.

 

nope, can't see that anywhere. checked the hidden icons as well, and not there.
