generation of email

Hello All.

I am developing an application for a business that I am starting. Everything is going fairly well, but I am ignorant on one key aspect of my offered services.

I want to come up with an email subscription service that will send subscribers daily or weekly emails with their information.

I do not know how to automatically generate and send email to my subscribers (the information within the email will be written from text files on my server).

Any suggestions as to the easiest method to implement this task? CGI? PHP? Sendmail?

Also, if anyone could point me to a few websites where I might learn about how to do this, I'd appreciate it. I've found a few on the internet but ended up getting confused.

 

You can do this a number of way.
I personaly prefer PHP but maybe that just me.
Do a google on Sending mail with PHP.
should show you how to send mail with PHP. after that you just have too ru nthe script when ever you want to send it off
