"Get Mail" won't work with new version of Mozilla

I have recently installed new version of Mozilla and latest version of "Get Mail". Although the "get mail" icon appears on my toolbar when I click it nothing happens.

My understanding of this is that when you download and install the "get mail" from the site nothing happens because the path defaults to access a "normal Thunderbird install for Windows". Therefore, it would appear that I need to change this path in order to access my e-mail. I know how to change the path but do not know what the path should be.

Anyone tell me how I find it? Thanks

Well you, or someone else, can explain it 100 times if you like but it doesn't work. Right clicking on shortcut/properties to establish the path will not work. When I used this path the "get mail" opens up the desktop NOT my mail. Hope this is clear.

Thanks. Your second suggestion would appear to be the best course of action.

I agree. The question is where do I find the correct path? It is not found by right clicking the mail shortcut.
I don’t know how to copy the window across but here is the relevant information: Right click on mail shortcut.
Under the “General” heading we have
    Type of File: Shortcut(ink)
    Description: E-mail Shortcut
    Location: C:\users\stan\desktop

Under “ Details” heading we have Folder Path: C:\users\stan\desktop

Obviously there is other info here but hardly relevant.
Note there is no “Target Path” as there is in XP. I have tried many combinations using the words “mail” and “Winmail” added to the above for the correct path and on one occasion when I clicked the Get Mail icon it brought up the desktop!

No problem. I was intending to post the solution here and on the other Forum but had to dash this morning and in my hurry forgot to post it on the other Forum. Will do that shortly. Anyway, the correct path for Vista is :

    C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe

    Thanks

Re reading the posts it would appear that you assumed I was right clicking Windows Mail in Programs, which is the correct place to look, and where you suggested I look, whereas, I was right clicking Properties in the Windows mail icon, which doesn't give the correct path. Sorry about that.
