Get On the MAJOR GEEKS MAP!!!!

Firstly I cannot take any credit for this just reposting something that has been up before, pilfered the idea from AbbySue’s response to another thread, that was later refined by Bigbazza.

Just thought that some of the new members would like to be on the Major Geeks MAP, and this is the link to it http://www.frappr.com/majorgeeks it is nice to see where everyone is. If possibly it would be nice if this site could be a sticky on MG, took me four months to hear about it, but then I am an “Old Fart” like TimW , well at least that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it (Bad Pun I know)

Same for me, I`m the only GEEKER in the NT :S

Great Solange & fleppen, will have to try and get a Geek in every country, then we can have a International MajorGeek day. Haven't found TimW on the map yet, maybe he is hiding under his soother, or worse in Halo's Vino cellar

ROFLMAO!!! I put in my city, and the little marker is about 75 miles NORTH of where I live!

 

I couldn;t see myself on it either Sgt. Tibbs, until I zooned in on Oregon. Try it...you may find yourself on it twice now!

 

Nope, I definitely wasn't there. Although when I zoomed in, I see the marker is actually where I live instead of way north.

 

Great idea to recycle this occasionally.
Maybe a sticky in the Lounge forum would be a good idea. Bazza

I noticed each time I refreshed the flags would change. Zooming shows everyone. I don't need a map to know where BCGray is though. He's in the wetter part of the Kootenays with the crappy roads and narrow valleys (except the one he lives beside that's filled with water. Also because we're in the correct time zone over here, we get nice long Summer evenings. . All kidding aside, the rest of you geeks have got to get your butts up here and check the Kootenays out.

 

Original map evidently, as I'm already on it. New York members seem kinda thin. I think it's lost a few folks over time.

No, Abri the map should add you right away, you will have to log in though I believe. Hey you will be the "First" from Germany, the only one close to you is Flippen in the Netherlands. You will also have to move the map to Europe as its default is North America mainly the USA. Hope that Helps Abri

Yea I see you (BCGray waving like crazy)......... Yea it's only you a Flippen for all of central Europe, guess you guys can split Europe in two and claim it, sure you would do a much better job than the EU
