Recently reformatted so I'm still getting things tweaked and can't for the life of me remember how to get rid of this PITA http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/star17abby/toolbar.jpg tool bar. 'Thought' I did it through TweakUI before but if I did my brain has gone into melt-down and I'm not seeing the setting.

    I format every 4 - 6 months so you would think I'd remember:eek:....argggggg

    Help me?:D

In IE > View > Toolbars > Customise then highlight and click remove.

Well hell...LMAO I've just spent the last 5 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't find what you were talking about only to come back in and find you were talking out of your tush;):D

I even opened IE and everything! *giggle*

I use Maxthon most of the time so it's showing up in there all the time of course..haven't seen it in firefox but I don't like to use FF all the time..mostly use it only for extra security when I'm browsing outside of my usual haunts.

Hahahaha not as bad as me I even fired up my laptop as it has XPH just to see if the icons were different :(

Just downloaded and installed Maxthon, the default skin is different to yours, but the View > Toolbar > Customise is the same as IE and does have those icons in it, so maybe the location?

Hallelujah! Got rid of it and now I feel like such a non-geek for missing the setting:eek: lol

Internet Options > Advanced > under Multimedia, unchecked 'enable image tool bar'. Restarted and voilĂ ! All gone:D:D

Maybe someday...sure would make things a lot easier but priorities first.

    - Monitor
    - Bigger HD so I won't HAVE to reformat so soften cuz that blasted one I have now gets full so fast.
    - RAM...desperately need more if I'm gonna keep doing graphics design.

@ Halo...EXACTLY! I really need that 'thumping self in head' icon Tibbs mentioned;) lol
