Getting a new tower soon

Soon I will be getting a new Tower only with software on it. Question is, what software is needed the most on a new pc tower that doesn't bloat or slow the pc down? I'm hoping DELL or another Mfg pc company can install only what is really needed without all the other useless junk they put in.

 

The question is: what software do you need? It really depends what you do with your computer.

Some people need Microsoft Office, other people don't.
Some people need Adobe Reader, other people don't.
Most people need Flash Player, some people don't.
Some people need Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, other people don't.
Some people need Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server, other people don't.
Some people need Java RTE or SDK, other people don't.
Some people just need games...

 

Well the pc will be for fun. Surfing the net, chatting, looking at videos, playing online games, playing music, downloading pictures, looking up things/researching but not for school or work, rip and burn cds viewing movies if I want and other stuff. So I guess you can say for Entertainment.

 

I find that some manufacturers put a lot of "Bloatware" and some other like Lenovo do not. Just my 2 cents.
