I am running Windows Vista x64-bit. I recently posted in the malware section about my computer being slow and followed the steps through the guide. I was told that more than likely it was a free space issue and since then have freed up a lot of space from junk. However I am getting access denied type prompt on some of my folders. For example if I click the windows button, and my name (i'm the only user on this computer) and then the my documents shortcut, I get c:/users/'myname'/mydocuments access is denied. Now I can get around this by clicking the my documents tabs so it isn't a major problem, but it just takes longer. Another example is I can't go to my videos through shortcuts, I have to find them in c: directory. Is it a security setting that I changed when I ran the programs in the malware section?

make sure you are not trying to get into the one that's a shortcut. the icon with a little arrow at the bottom. It's supposed to be hidden, unless you have the show hidden files/folders turned on. it's a compatibility thing for older software.
