Getting data from 'old' C: Drive.....

Got a new Win-XP Home v2002 SP2 PC and I'm trying to get the data from the C: drive of the machine that died.

I opened up the new machine and installed the 'old' C: as the second drive - booted it and it does show up as D: on the new PC.

But, when I open up D: using explorer all I see is 'System Restore'.

How can I get to the actual files, docs, mp3s, etc. that I had saved on the old machines C: drive????
