Recently I was told about a program that will tell the sender of an email if it was read, how long it was read, if it was read more than once, etc. Anyone know anything? J

Unless you are on a web email that has the feature built in it isn't possible. Even then, I've never heard of anything like it with the standard web email providers like Hotmail, Yahoo, or G-Mail. Where did you hear about it?

Outlook Express has a tool "Request Read Receipt", The Bat! has both "Confirm Receipt" and "Reading confirmation", Mozilla Mail has "Return Receipt". Of course, the recipient is typically given the option to disallow confirmation emails by the receiving email client, so YMMV.
