Ok I'm getting an application error message and I'm not sure what the cause is. I cleaned the comp out of dust, removed ram and put it back in. I also used disk defragmenter on both partitions of the hard drive. I still get the message. Here are some of my comp specs:

    Celeron CPU 3.06 Ghz
    512 mb DDR2 Ram
    Windows XP Home Edition
Micro ATX case, 2 fans, powersupply fan, CPU fansink
    I added a video card, and 256MB Ram, and a 120mm fan,
before that it was a stock HP Pavilion.

Here is a message I keep getting:

    iexplore.exe - application error
the instruction at "0x1009397e" referenced memory at "0x0228c3e8". The
    memory could not be "read".
Click ok to terminate the program

Go to your event viewer and post the code of that error (in applications or system).

Would that be the same as system information? Sorry I'm not sure. I did enter it into that and got no matches.

    HI!
No, not the same. In event viewer look for any recent errors in the Application and System sections.

Control panel / admin tools / event viewer / system and/or applications.

Hanging application IEXPLORE.EXE, version 6.0.2900.2180, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

That's the info I get. Any ideas?

Uninstall the Google Toolbar if you have it and restart.

This problem never used to happen, do you really think it is the problem? Normally I would but it's not my computer, and other people like the toolbar. What a pain.. but if it is 100% the cause I'll do it.

    There is no 100%. :)

You can always reinstall it, even if it solves the problem. Do they have Spyware Doctor installed on the machine?

I have Norton AntiVirus Protection and Stopzilla for spyware and popup protection.

You might try disabling them and see if you still get the error.
