Ghostsurf won't let me get to personal info on Avon

Just got cable, dl'd 2 proggies right off, Kaspersky and Ghostsurf. Ghostsurf apparently blocked me from getting to the Avon website. Let me clarify, I can get there fine, but when I plug in my un/pass, I get the page not found error. I can get on fine with roomie's pc, though.

Deleted both proggies, found some key strings for ghostsurf and deleted it. Ran a bunch of apps to clean out the registry, etc. And I still cannot get on to the secure site for Avon. This is, so far, the only site I'm having trouble with.

I have dl'd and installed all certificates, run a bunch of proggies to clean out the registry, etc. Still nothing is working. I'm certain Ghostsurf is yet lurking around.

 

I don't see anything running. ergh! Tried going to the host file, didn't show up there, either. Just a tutorial on it. Just can't believe this is happening!

Friend of mine said that it sounds as if there is one firewall too many.

I am connected with a router, which has it's own firewall. I deleted the firewall from my pc, yet I am still having trouble. O, and the cable company I'm with also has it's own firewall protection. Would those 2 together be the problem? I don't think so, because the roomie's pc is also connected to the router, and they have an additional firewall on and I can still access my site.

 

everything is fine, now. Had to set the router to my pc settings, can access my site.
