Is the gigabyte 8ipe1000p3 Worth its money??

I can get it for 134.00€ at my hardware shop, I have a Pentium 4 2.600 MHz running at 533fsb with 512mb Ram

You must enhance your leet Google skillz, Lugztaz! ;)

    GA-8IPE1000 Pro3

It's virtually identical to the GA-8IPE1000 Pro-G available at Newegg for $92. The only difference is that the Pro3 has the ICH5R I/O control hub (meaning it has RAID) as well as Intel GbE adapter, while the Pro-G has the ICH5 I/O control hub (no RAID) and a Marvell GbE adapter.

I would not pay more than $115 for the Pro3, and I would probably not buy it at all unless I required RAID on a budget. If I needed to replace a board for an existing S478 P4, I might go this route if I needed RAID.

If it were for a wholly new system, I would wait until the LGA-775 P4's and the i925X mobos were cheaper, and maybe they'd have DDR2 and/or PCIe.

Do you think it would work on a 2.560MHz P4 (Northwood) with 533FSB. and 1 333mhz 256mb Ram chip. i've got an old chipset with only 4x agp and other stuff that is too old to go through..
