Give me your best camp fire story

I just remembered, we have no T.V., computer, or entertainment for my trip. We do have a generator but I'm not carrying the gas in. Anyway, back to my point....I need some stories. Scarey is good. Nothing mushy, but something good. I will print this thread out before I leave. Seems we have finally set a date.........(drum roll).............................First two weeks in August.
If I get 13 stories, we will play spin the bottle and the bottle will point to that nights reader. If I get more, well, we can always play twice.

 

I don't have any specifically, but I would recommend Edgar Allen Poe's The Man with the Golden Arm.But that story may work well with kids - don't know who's on your trip.

 

Just 2 adult females. We will be bringing spirits, so go from there.

Make em up yourself! Do one of those circular stories, they work great, especially after a little to drink (but not too much, of course... or it gets boring) Make it a little more interesting, every time you tell a line, you have to drink. Hell, you can make it a drinking game story

Nah. E.A. Poe is alright, if you want to go to sleep as long as you're pretty articulate they are fun

 

Well, if it had stayed just the two of us, that would not have worked. I just found out that we grew from 2 to 5. The numbers will help delay the inevitable early night.
