Giveaway of the Day - PDF To JPG 2, but how is it useful?

It's at http://www.****************.com/ but how is this software useful? Can someone explain the benefit of converting PDF to an image file or files? Why do it?

 

Well, I found mention of one use for it, which is to "embed a PDF document in a web page that will work on computers not having Adobe Acrobat Reader?"

Any other reasons?

So, I believe I've answered my own question. I don't feel a need for this now so I think I'll pass on the Giveaway of the Day. Besides, I've seen some freeware that I could get if I need this type of software.

 

I convert excerpts of PDF documents to JPG format all the time. The tech manuals I write for the military have lots of exploded views of equipment, and sometimes I can take them from vendor literature rather than having to develop them. I use Foxit Reader's snapshot tool, paste into Irfanview, and save as a JPG or PNG.
