LOL Robster we are more then ready LOL...its storming now,,,but when it lets up,,I have enclosed my notbook cam in a plastic box...and going to mount in my front storm shutter,,,LOL we are safe indeed,,If I felt there was danger would never do !!!!,,the window to our safe room is behind that shutter,,,,GlennPS you know us geeks LOL will go far and wide with the PC LOL

 

Hmm. You think we could possibly make it less, uhh, green, and more focused and pointed at the sky? That would be cool

NA all safe morning I set up cam on outside of storm shutters,,,and wire leads into my safe room,,,,,all is good,,,will start to broadcast a bit later on today,,,Glenn

 

UPDATE !!!

Well all , we have had our first power outage, half our house has no electric,,,of course the part with the air conditioner is out,,,but have a few 20in box fans,,,and have with some electric cords have restored power back to parts of the house critical,,,frig, computer, tv, all modems and routers,,,so I am back up and running,,,the hurricane Frances Weathercam is back up and running,,,wish all good luck,,,Glenn and Family

UPDATE..Ok we have NO POWER and the storm really is not even here yet,,,I"m on a 56k Dial up and laptop batterys....the cam and all unnecessary stuff comes to a halt,,,have 2 batterys about 8 hrs of run time before recharge,,, will be working on getting my power inverter up and running and see if I can restore my networking for my regular connection,,,will be checking back soon,,Glenn
