    Hello,

I am a stopmotion animator, and I have run into a bizarre problem that seems to be related to HP computers, but possibly not limited to them:

When I try to flip between last captured frame and the live feed from a firewire video camera or USB webcam in Anasazi SMA, the very first frame of the sequence very quickly flashes, and then I see the last frame I shot, instead of going directly from the live feed to the last frame. This gllitch appears as a wiggle, because of the first frame being flashed. When I step forward to the live feed, this glitch does not happen. So it's only present when I step back from live to captured image.

I've tried different versions of Windows, hard drives, and video cards, but to no avail.

The "Anasazi Stopmotion Animator" program was written in Delphi, in compatibility with Video For Windows, and the programmer, Penn Taylor, is unfortunately unavailable for comment.

Any information regarding this issue or a proposed solution to it will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Prog

P.S. If anyone wants to write a code that will alleviate this problem, I am open to the possiblity, but I don't know how to implement it, as I'm not a programmer.
