Gmail as default in windows 8.1

    Have set gmail as default in Firefox, works great, but other programs using e-mail [eg. Picasa] still open windows mail. Tried searching through the default programs list and only see Mail. Any help? Web search brings up lots of info on defaults, but nothing specific.
