I wanted to take the time to post this really great article by V.T.Eric Layton from his Nocturnal Slacker v1.0 site titled The GNU/Linux Adventurer's Backpack

I would consider this a must read for any new Linux adventurer or anyone deciding if they want to take the leap from Windows or Mac into Linux.

As a Linux user I say GO FOR IT!!!!!!! You will be happy you did. ;) But have the GNU/Linux Adventure's Backpack with you to make the transition a breeze.

Also, look around Eric's site. He has many great articles for the more advanced users in regards to Bash Shell scripting as well as others. I quote Eric "Learn something. It won't hurt you none."

    All the best,

    Ian
