How do you prevent this cookie from continually reappearing in my cookie folder? I have set IE 6.0+++ all updates to the highest setting... go.com is in the restricted list of cookies and i delete it with cookie monster II and it keeps coming back ...help!!!

 

YOu might have more than just a cookie problem. YOu might have spyware

have you ran ad aware and spybot??

 

yes both plus norton internet security and anti-virus

 

You can try this:

Open Internet properties
Click the Privacy tab
Go down to Websites and click the Edit box
From there just type in the address without the http://

 

Did you by any chance download their toolbar??

 

i downloaded an ESPNViewer allowing me to see video clips i just removed it from ADD/Remove software....during the removal it access the internet twice but it is now removed and it has not come back since my last deletion, it was coming back every 30 seconds

Deleting the ESPN Viewer was the ticket to no go.com cookie woohoo!!!

if you follow his advise you will be able to blocl cookies from that site.

type in the site you want to block

also

privacy
click on advanced
overrided automatic cookie handling
I have my settings under
first party to accept
third party to block
and allow session cookies

 

Problem fixed

I removed the ESPN Viewer i installed a few days ago no more cookie from go.com and i also set my cookie manager to ask me about future cooies thanks for the help folks...
