go daddy users - help!!!

I am helping a friend build a small site, and she bought space on godaddy. So I just uploaded the index page, and typed 'test' in it , just to mkae sure it worked and would show up online. now i am ready to start buidling the page and add a backround and text, but i cannot find any option in the file manager that says "edit" the index page i just uploaded, or anything? like i use note pad to do the actual editting, then save it again, but how to i put my updated edit to upload and update the page?

 

just upload the index.htm with ftp.
