Yes!!! Leave your credit cards behind heheh

Seriously though, go watch the musical fountains outside the Bellagio Hotel. They are just so pretty and relaxing :)

Each hotel on the strip has a different theme. The only way I found to get round them all is to split your dinner courses up between them...take your starter at Treasure Island, entree at The Mirage, and dessert at The Venetian. Do this every night with different hotels and you should just about get round them all. Also book up to see a show if you like that kind of thing. The performances in Vegas are second to none.

Are you flying? Be aware, it is perfectly normal to experience chronic turbulence flying out of Vegas. The wings aren't falling off. Honest! :D

    Have a great time!

Go see Wayne Newton...I think he's had nightly shows at the Stardust since 1926. ;)

I wanted to go see Penn & Teller last time we went but the missus wasn't up for that... even though I haven't seen their live show if its anything like their TV shows I'd love it. :)

Watch the Pirate Ships fight at Treasure Island... ride the rollercoasters - the New York New York one is kinda cool - but there are 3 rides now I think on the Stratosphere... They have to be worth a look!

And if you enjoy watching grown men weep then the casinos may provide some free entertainment... just watch those high roller tables. Scary stuff.

I was shocked at the marked difference between the strip and downtown. The taxi driver didn't seem so keen on stopping either. It's the place to go if you like to walk the darker side of life.

I was just there in August. We stayed at the 4 Queens. Spent one while day at the strip. Lots of walking. Saw the tigers at the Mirage, etc...
We went to a luau at the Imperial. It was a great show.
I do like to gamble, but I stuck to the penny machines mainly. Sat near the hotel check-in. I seemed to win every time a bunch of people came to check in. As they stood in line, I would win.I think it was to show them all the money you could make.
Freemont Street show is ok. Nothing spectacular to me.
I had a great time. Was just my mom and my two sisters and I.
I am ready to go back........:)

Depending on the time of the year, you can get rental cars for 14.99 a day. Check out Dollar.com

    :)
Then you can go to Valley of Fire (Northeast 40 miles) or Red Rock (15 miles W)

There is Ethel M chocolates and that has a cactus garden.

    Google it...

Mom and dad took me out there for my 21st birthday!! It was awesome!!!!

The best way to describe it...it is a Disneyworld for grownups!!

You will have no trouble finding ANYTHING to do for entertainment!! There is free stuff to see and go to 24/7...it just depends on what excites you!! I was watching the pirates fight out front of Treasure Island...and I/we all thought it was awesome...but the guy standing next to it was blasting it the whole time, and walked off in the middle of the show!! So needless to say...some like some things and others don't!!

Ceasar's Palace is the one with the mall inside that has the clouds, etc. and if you are in the right place at the right time, you will see the statues move!!

The Mirage has the white tigers that you can see when they are not in the show, along with the volcano out front.

The New York, New York, has the rollercoaster on top of the building.

Circus Circus has a circus in it!!

The Excaliber has the medieval show.

Treasure Island has the Pirate show.

    Imperial has a car mueum.

Venetian has the gondalo rides through the hotel.

As you can see...I could go on forever!!

    Hope you have fun!!!!

    Roger
