Going Away

Hello all. Just a message to say that I wont be on as much now as I started a new job and it involves quite a bit of travelling but I will be on from time to time but i wont be able to help as much as before. Keep up the good work guys you are doing a great job. Andy

Enjoy your new job and I hope the travelling doesn't become tedious. When I was young I had a job that often involved working interstate and initially it was really exciting to be catching planes everywhere but you soon get sick of being stranded in airport terminals because of flight cancellations and don't get me started on the lost or stolen tools or when your luggage gets sent to the wrong destination or when you pick up your luggage at the carousel and it looks like it has been run over by the forklift several times and anything breakable is broken......... of course it didn't help that the company policy was to always book the cheapest economy flight......

I only travelling by trains around the UK. I have passed to be a chef so I am working in restaurants that are short in staff or going to be short. The train companies are really accommodating as they allowed me to travel with my own personal cutting knife set and given me the paperwork to bypass any security. I only started 2 days ago but so far really enjoying it.

 

Doesn't sound too bad and trains are more reliable than planes
Hmmm .... a chef.... lots of free samples errrr I meant to say testing for quality control purposes
Gee I didn't give any thought that you are taking your knives with you everywhere and I am guessing that it is important to have your own knives as I you would get used to using a certain type of knife so it is good that the train companies gave you the green light

I use my mobile to access the internet as it's on contract to catch up on emails and browse but also to download some recipes aswell. I only work Monday to Friday 9am till 3pm so I got weekends off. Which is good
