going back to xp after installing windows 7

    i need help to fix my aunts computer she has a dell inspiron 1520 orginal os
    was windows xp she installed windows 7 and now wants to go back to xp help please i need step by step instructions have the reinstallation disk that came with the pc :cry

    If it was installed over XP then you will likely have to reformat and start with a new install of XP.

    Windows 7 should only be installed on a separate partition or on a hard drive you can easily reformat.
