going to buy a ps2 and some games but what ones

i will have the money in the next week or so and i am going to buy me a ps2 there are some games i am going to get but i am wondering if there any more that are as good or better i am going to buy driv3r, gta:vice city and SA and maybe atv off road2 is there anyothers that are good first person shooter that i should get i like driving games and games based on ww2 so what should i get

 

I don't have a PS2, but I do have an X-Box. I love it! However, I did rent one of the games you listed: Driv3r. I hated it. It was sooooooo bad. Too much hype, not enough game play. Also, not like I bought stock in X-Box or anything, but X-Box = Halo 2. I don't like 1st person shooters that much, I felt Halo 1 was overhyped, but Halo 2 was AWSOME! My only complaint was it was too short. I really started enjoying it when it was almost over .

I am going to start a poll X-box or PS2. I'll be intersted in the results .

well nothing will change my mind about the driver series i have driver 1 and 2 and i still play them to today them are the only games i like to play that is why i am thinking of getting gta but it will never replace my driver games. i also wonder why it took so long for driv3r to come out because at the end of driver 2 it says taner and w/e will return in 2002 but not inthem words something like that but it did say 2002 i am also thinking of going to get a x-box and a gamecube for a friend of mines grandson to play when he is over there what are some good games for them and is it worth buying it

 

i have driver 1 and 2 too those were some of my fav games for PS1. i dun hav driv3r though...

 

Honestly, I'm right there with you. Driver 1&2 were great. Trust me Driv3r ain't. Don't take my word for it, but take my advice: Rent before you buy. I wanted Driv3r to be great, I gave it so many chances, but in the end I had to take it back - Thankfull I didn't shell out $50 for it (only $6 to rent it).

 

the most current game based on WWII on the PS2 is call of duty - if you are good and first person shooters then you are likely to finish this on quite fast as the single player is fairly short and not too challenging - even so it is still a great game and the multiplayer is supposed to be good.

the medal of honour tiltles are good - frontline is the best of them(storming the beaches of normandy at the start is great) but has been around for a while now so lacks a bit of the impact of call of duty

GTA san andreas is a must buy - i wouldnt bother with vice city if you are buying this
