Where is the best place in canada to buy parts?

I need Motherboard, Case, CPU, and Vid Card. I usually go to Robotnik.com but its a 4 hour drive. My cards all maxed so COD or money order places the best lol.

people over here go to comp usa or best buy to buy all the fans, cases and hard drives and processors and we go to ebay to buy the motherboard (you don't have to buy the processor if the motherboard has it included) the sound card the graphics card and sometimes the power supply, you can buy the power supply from any electroinic stor or use one from a computer you threw away (i did that and it worked like normal i would not reccomend the power supplys that had the rocker switch in the back they break off and you can't easily start up anymore)

if you get that funny feeling and want the little lights in the case with a translucent panel go to ebay and you'll find all kinds of lights (only if you feel like it lights can be very pricy but this may be something to get after you get everything up and running

as for everything else the mouse, keyboard, monitor microphone, speakers are very easy to obtain, because almost every store sells them

Hmm, Halifax eh? I like ncix.com for parts, built my last two rigs from there and I think it would be the best for you since they have Interac if you belong to one of the participating banks for immediate payment and Paypal works too from your bank but takes a while to process with an eCheck, 8 business days.

I doubt anyone accepts COD's these days, why don't you just take the money you have in your bank and pay off the card and then use it to buy with? Anyways, I obviously don't know any one in the maritimes.;) Good luck on the build!:)

    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811208020

I like that for the price and look.

Mobo just a random 775 socket I picked to be able to run pther stuff I have.

Card: HIS Radeon HD 4830 Video Card - 512MB GDDR3

BluRay player for PCs are running around the $100US mark (link: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118013 )
BluRay players with DVD burners are right around $150US (link: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118020 )
BluRay burners start at about $240US (link: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106254 )
They even have BluRay re-writeable drives, but they ain't cheap! They start at about $480US (link: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827131060&Tpk=blu ray rewritable )
And I think burnable BluRay discs are super expensive too... like about $5 each (or more).

(there appears to be some compatibility issues with some BluRay burners and Vista 32bit vs. Vista 64bit; do your research with the manufacturer!)

EDIT- I just realized that I was on Newegg Canada when I posted those links/prices so they may be in Canadian moneys and not USA moneys
    :-o rolleyes :innocent

Just ordered bunch of LED's mostly tubing, and changed the vid card to something little more powerful requiring a better power supply.

Blu Ray is strcitly to watch movies, gonna also install a dvd-rw for burning and regular use. Using the blu-ray with my tv. I play alot of my games and movies thorugh PC onto HDTV.
