good download accelerator?

what is a good download accelerator?

is there one i can use as a separate program without making it the default download manager?

 

I like Star Downloader.

And just turn off browser intergration and its not default any more. magic, lol

thanks. just got really annoyed with a slow site giving me an 11kb download speed when the burst download speed was 300+. silly internet

 

arg! thats multi threaded so you can have 10 11kb/s downloads LOL.

 

hmm. I cant get it to download the file i want, instad it just downloads the php protocol for the link...?

Try the Internet Utilities ( hmmm...too many I's or L's in there? Oh well, it's late ) section on the MG main page. Lotsa DL acellerators in there. All of 'em look okay.

I got DLexpert and it works just fine.

it even followed the PHP link to the correct path and downloaded the file i wanted.

he's just saying that because thats what this site uses to stop people leeching!

if you turn off browser intergration until just before you get the Connecting to Download site THEN enable it you will get the file fine! Well.......you should do..

Anyways you arnt having any problems with that chineese program, so i dont see why you cant continue using that.
