Good Firewall?

I am currently looking for a GOOD firewall...the firewall can be free or pay.

ZoneAlarm Free is a good firewall, but I dont personally like it.

 

I use the Kerio Personal Firewall. Works great, ran it as free for awhile, then went ahead a registered it. I like it that much.

 

I've been using Sygate for the past 3 yrs,it works just great,Zone Alarm did not agree with my system for some reason. And Sygate is free or you can purchase Sygate pro.

I like Zone Alarm. Just takes a little getting used to.

 

I enjoyed Sygate while I used it.

 

I also use Sygate. Though, soon (who really knows when I'll do this) I'll be using an old computer as a linux "hardware" firewall. Just to give that a shot.

 

ZA Pro... dont bother with that "Security Suite" as it is crap. Throw in an up-to-date router with whichever program you choose and you'll be all set.

 

I use ZA free version, on dialup, and like it. You may like to check out the thread that I just posted about ZA and broadband hassles, for some users.

I haven't read of any MG'er with the same hassles as reported in this link, so don't know what is going on.

I agree with Agnitum OutPost above, even though Star's opinion is only worth 0.01 c.

In my opinion the best software firewall available.
