good freware player??

Hi people,
I am trying to find a decent media player that is low on resources and memory. I am looking for freeware, not share, and it must be able to create playlists. It is for an anchient 266 Mhz w/ 64megs of RAM with Win 98. There are just so many so I am hoping someone that has tried and liked a specific player can refer me to it.
I am just getting tired of installing and uninstalling if you know what I mean, while trying to find the best one

I think Winamp would fall under this category. Nice and small, and if you have trouble playing certain videos you could try the MPlayer plugin:

I'm pretty sure you can make playlists, too.
