Thought I'd post this, for those of you with slower computers. (Heh heh) Download Desktopx, then put it on default desktop, and close explorer.exe from the processes. That can free up anywhere from 10000k to 50000k in the task manager, thus speeding you up severely if your desperate.

...you can't run Windows without explorer.exe...Windows Explorer.
You won't be able to do anything.

...but it will free up plenty of k's though if it's not running, so he's technically correct

Well, its meant for internet and other things. You can run EVERYTHING but windows explorer. You can run my documents and my computer and all of that just as well. Desktopx ACTS as an explorer.exe And desktopx makes a theme, therefore you WILL NOT be staring at a blank screen, you will just be sacrificing windows explorer (The ONE program) for 10000k+... I think its a good idea for the newbies to computers who have slower comps...
