Good News for Me.

So I had an interview today, before the interview the staffing company that arranged it told me not to expect a second round interview on the same day since the company never does it. I go there, and meet the HR manager who was pretty hard to read, but I gave well polished answers since I expected her to use all the traditional questions. I researched everything I could about the company and could tell them who key clients were and even how much cash they were holding.

So she goes to me "wow you've really done your homework" and I responded "Why wouldn't I? The way I see it is that while I'm interviewing for a job here, I'm also interviewing the job and company. I need to know for myself that your company is one that I would like to work for, and one that I think I can contribute to. If I didn't research it, I could be wasting both yours and my time."

She gets up and says hold on a second, let me make a call.. Next thing I know I was talking to the VP, and then to the Manager that would be directly in control of the position if I was hired.

By the time I got home, I had two calls waiting from the staffing company. They said "I don't know what you said, to get that far in one day. Oh and by the way they are sending an offer tommorrow morning at 8am."

So my day went well, and I should be starting a new job very soon!
