Good Text Editor For Win98?

Hi! I have a Win98SE computer at my mother's house, and I want to do some programming on it. I am looking for a decent text editor for it. I tried freewarefiles.com and got some results but didn't like them. Can somebody recommend a good text editor to handle code files on Win98?

I have a DOS/Win3.1 laptop at my mother's house, and I think I have some good DOS-based text editors on it but no Win3.1-based. Where can I find some?
