google account

    i cant get rid of my google account , iam on windows 7 and using firefox , i have looked into this and all pages say the same thing ( Click the Edit link next to the 'My products' list. On this page, you can delete your account.) i cannot find my products list anywhere ( i think its all been updated from the time this answer was given )any help would be grateful , thanks

    Hi

    Try using IE to achieve this as I created a new account to test this with and deleted it ok, after clicking Edit next to Accounts, remember to click all the boxes and enter your password to confirm as if anything like Talk, Blogger associated with this account is still active the account "could" still not fully delete.

    So I just logged into Google Accounts

    Click the Edit link next to the My Services list > clicked "Close account and delete all services and info associated with it" > confirm by clicking all the boxes to Gmail, Talk, Blogger etc and then enter your password to confirm > click Delete Google Account and bye bye google.
