Google Adsense on Moonfruit

Hi All,

This seemed like the most logical place to ask this question. Feel free to move though.

I have just built a couple of sites on moonfruit and I have signed up to use google adsense. They seem to use a staged approach to authorisation. In that you have to have a valid site then they will provide you an adsense account. You then have to create a ad unit and embed the code in your site and they will authorise your next stage. I have created an ad unit and obtained the code, however, I have used moonfruit to build the site.

In moonfruit they will sort out the ads and position but all you provide is your adsense content ID. I have done this and it seems to have updated OK but I havent used the specific code from the adsense ad unit.

Having looked through the HTML code it appears to reference your Ad sense ID plus Ad Unit id so I asume that Moonfruit create all the adsense code themselves using your id.

So my question really is by proving moonfruit with my adsense ID and adding some ads to my site with the moonfruit adsense interface, will I now proceed to the next stage of authorisation?

If need be I can turn of the adverts in the moonfruit interface and hard code my ad unit code into an HTML element but that seems a bit long winded.

Also the Adsense newbie central site seems to be down so I have no reference material on google.

I got an email back from google saying that my account has been confirmed so all sorted now. just need to work on my SEO skills!
