google cache

How do i clear the cache of searched for words on the google home page? I can delete search history on the google toolbar but if I go onto the google homepage, everything is still there. Just an annoyance really.

 

Depends what browser you are using! Which is it? On what operating system?

 

Internet explorer on Windows xp sp2

 

Here's how:

1. Launch Internet Explorer (IE)
2. In IE, select 'Internet Options' from the 'Tools' menu
3. On the 'Internet Options' dialog, select the 'Content' tab
4. Under 'Personal Information' press the 'AutoComplete' button
5. On the 'AutoComplete Settings' dialog, press the 'Clear Forms' button
6. Confirm you wish to clear the form data

That's it! You're done! Note that you will lose other form data after performing this procedure.

Ofcourse, the next day I got an email from the good people at Mozilla saying to clear Google cache all you need to do is right click in the search bar and go to 'clear history'
