Google Chrome Problem

Hello Fellow Geekz,

So i have a very frustrating problem concerning Google Chrome that i have finally snapped and can't it anymore....

Every time i do a search and click on a link lets say 3/4's of the way down the results page it takes me to the proper link BUT when i click the "back arrow" to return to the results, it defaults to the top of the results page instead of where i left off. So i needless and constantly have to scroll through the results i already viewed to get back to where i left off. Internet Explorer ALWAYS returns me to where i left off when doing a search.

Any ideas as to what might be going on here. I went through the settings and nothing seems apparent to remedy the problem. Any help is appreciated! I just updated Chrome and the problem is persistent.

Version 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Try resetting Chrome to its defaults but make sure you click 'save' all the way out
